{Outlet} Jr. High Ministries
Outlet Youth Group is for Middle School students (grades 6-8). We meet on Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm.
We (the leadership team at Outlet) strive to create a fun and exciting learning environment and experience for our students. Our youth group meetings include worship, skits, snacks, fun games and activities, and Biblical teaching, followed by a time of small groups (to further discuss the main points of the lesson and build relationships and strengthen friendships).
At Outlet, we believe that relationships are extremely important. We want to reach everyone with the Good News of Jesus but we believe that relationships must come first.
The purpose of Outlet is to provide a place of Love, and through being loved student's will feel like they belong to an authentic community. A community in which student's can grow and serve the Lord by using their gifts and going out and showing Christ's love to the world.

Love: 1 John 4:19 "We love, because He first loved us." We believe it is important that we create a place where students can come and experience love. A place where you can be yourself, and be loved for who you are.
Belong: 1 Thessalonians 5:11 "Therefore encourage one another and build up on another, just as you also are doing." We believe it is important for students to feel like they belong at our youth group, encouragement is a big piece to doing this.
Grow: Galatians 5:22-23 " But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, self-control; against such things there is no law. We believe it is important for growth to happen. If true growth is happening fruit will be produced in peoples lives.
Serve: John 12:26 "If anyone serves me, he must follow me; and where I am, there my servant will be also; if anyone serves Me, the Father will honor Him." We believe it is important to serve our Lord with the gifts He has given us. If we serve out Lord, we are bringing glory to Him.
Go Out: Matthew 28:19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son, and the Holy Spirit." We believe it is important to tell people about Jesus, and not just telling them about him, but making disciples out of them. People who follow, and are passionately in Love with Him.

What is a typical night at Outlet youth group?
The night starts out with a hangout time, eating snacks, music, and talking and laughing. This is followed by a game, usually its a completive game that guys and girls can play, that is followed by a non-competive game that guys and girls can play. After the fun games we have lesson time, which usually has a skit, movie, or cool illustration. Lesson will last for about 10 to 15 minutes, then its small group time, which is the most intentional part of the night, where your leaders will answer all of your questions from the lesson, that you may have.
Can I bring friends? And how many can I bring at a time?
Absolutely you can bring friends, you are encouraged to bring friends. You can as many as your mom's mini-van can hold.
Do I have to be a Christian, or a member of the church?
You don't have to be a Christians or a member of the church to come. All are welcome, thats the part about loving everyone.
How old do I need to be?
If you are in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade you can come.
How much fun do you have?
The most fun you can have in two hours, and its every week!
