VBS Special Missions Project
In much of the world, children play soccer with whatever they can find. Knotted rags, tied bundles of banana leaves, empty shell casings . . . to have a soccer ball of one's own is an impossible dream.
Until now.
Each crew in our VBS will place a special soccer ball and book in the hands of a child in South Africa. A child who will treasure the ball and the message of love sent with it.
*The crews will learn how mission workers will tell kids in South Africa about Jesus' love by using the colors on the Gospel Outreach Ball. They will also sign their names on the ball and think about the child who might use this ball.
*Each child will draw a self-portrait of themselves in their "Coaching for Sport . . . Coaching for Life" book.
