Here is a quick look at what you can expect from the weekend:

1. Purpose

This weekend retreat is designed for those who have a solid working theological understanding of the ministry of the Holy Spirit.  The topics will be about the ministry of the Holy Spirit to address our trauma and wounds, the empowering of the believer by the Holy Spirit for the purpose of living a life that points others to the Gospel, and the power of the Spirit to Heal.

2. Timing

Our registration will open at 6:00 pm on Friday night. Our time together on Friday will start at 7:00 pm. Saturday morning the doors will open at 7:45 am and we will begin at 8:15 am it will be a full day with a few breaks including a 1-hour lunch break and a 1.5-hour dinner break. We anticipate that we will end our time together on Saturday around 8:30 pm. For Sunday we invite you to join us for one of our two regularly scheduled worship services which are at 9 am and 11 am.

3. Meals and Hotels

The church is located in Bedford Hills, NY, which is around a 30 min drive to Danbury, CT. While Mt. Kisco (our village next door) does have a hotel, Danbury will offer more options.

When you arrive and check in on Friday or Saturday you will receive a local area map and our suggestions for dining locations in the area.

4. Children & Youth

In regards to children - our space for Children attending from other places is limited and will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Children under 5 will be receiving child care, from background-checked adults and teens.  Elementary-aged children -will be with us for worship, however; will then go to their own programming where we will be teaching similar topics at an age-appropriate level. They will be instructed by mature Christians who specialize in Children's Discipleship and have experience in teaching about the Holy Spirit.  Our teens will be included in the main teachings for the most part, but we will pull them out for their own space during breakout groups and practicums.
