"Good Grief! Don't Quit Yer Whinin'!"

Teacher: Catherine Cheong

Good grief!  No, it’s not just a whiny complaint out of Charlie Brown’s mouth. It is a declaration that grief and grieving are necessary and strengthening for the heart and soul of the Christ-follower. To be healthy members of the Kingdom of God, we have to grieve well, and we should aim to be safe havens where folks can grieve in our company. Let’s spend a few weeks to explore together: what could possibly be so good about grieving; how God’s Word provides guidance about grieving well; and how the Lord is so good to walk through grief-filled seasons with us.

Lies Girls Believe & The Truth That Sets Them Free

Teacher: Melissa

This is a special time for moms and daughters to come together and grow closer—to each other and God. Together, we’ll seek out truth and uncover the lies we sometimes believe about God, ourselves, our families, and our friendships.

We’ll learn how to recognize those lies and replace them with the life-giving truth found in God’s Word. He promises that the truth will set us free.

No matter your age, you are one of God’s beloved girls. Come and see what He has to say about who you are and how deeply you’re loved.

God Glorified / My Story

Teacher: DeAnna

Why? Because my story is mine and no one can refute it, so I am able to give glory to God through the redemptive narrative of my lived experience. (Be forewarned: There will be homework and expected in-class participation.)

Leaving a Legacy

Teacher: Grif Griffin

This five-week class will explore the principles and practicalities of thinking about your legacy:

“ A person's legacy is the enduring impact they leave on the world, encompassing their actions, values, relationships, and the memories they create. It's not just about material possessions or accomplishments, but rather the story of their life and the positive changes they inspire in others. Essentially, a legacy reflects the person they were and how they will be remembered.  [Proverbs 13:22a]

Whether you're just starting to think about your legacy and future impact or already have plans in place, this class will help you consider how your resources can tell a story of faith, generosity, and purpose, and how "Planned Giving" is an excellent resource to assist you. Join us as we explore how to be wise stewards and leave a meaningful legacy for generations to come.
